We want our clients to get the most out of our service. So we wrote a short guide to help you move in the right direction when promoting your Instagram account.

If you have a business account (store, services, etc.):

  • Find all potential competitors in your city/niche (if you work in Russia). We recommend adding accounts with over 1,000 followers. Pay attention to the competitor's audience: likes, topic-related comments. This helps see if their followers are "live" and useful.
  • Choose popular hashtags that are used most. Check spelling. Hashtags with few posts won't bring results. Use location-based hashtags like #california_moscow, #nails_kazan – effective even for Russia-wide business.
  • In locations, add your competitors' locations and addresses near your office/venue/store – or your own address if you're in a mall or business center. Add each office/store/cafe (if they appear in Instagram locations) separately.
  • Repeat the search about once a month, keep promotion running after setup. Monitor and adjust competitors, hashtags and locations when needed.
