Swipe is horizontal scrolling through post or story slides. Add multiple photos or videos to one post using the "Add swipe" button in edit mode. The feature may not be available to all users — keep the app updated.
Getting started
Open the app and sign in. Go to create a post or story, select media, find the "Swipe" or "Add swipe" button and add slides. Up to ten swipes in one post.
Creating a post with swipe
Select photos/videos, tap Next, switch to swipe mode in the editor, add slides, reorder by dragging, add filters and captions if needed. Publish.
Publishing
Select photos/videos, tap Next, switch to swipe mode in the editor, add slides, reorder by dragging, add filters and captions if needed. Publish.

Can I add swipe to an already published story?
No, swipe can only be added when creating a post or story before publishing.
What is the max file size for a story with swipe?
Same as for regular stories — follow Instagram’s format and length guidelines.
Swipe for video only or photos too?
Swipe works for both photos and videos; you can mix them in one post.
